Thank you Madam Deputy Speaker. On Monday I enjoyed a coffee with a lovely couple in my constituency who are running a charity with the goal of delivering e-books to primary schools although digital is often more difficult to read in the sense that it's on a screen, it can go further and faster in reaching children especially disadvantaged children what consideration has the Secretary of State given to the importance that includes sending out a special team under the auspices of UN women and we are working closely with international NGOs both through the Sudan Humanitarian Fund and through other partners too. Thank you Madam Deputy Speaker, the public watching will be rightly confused to hear the Minister and Shadow Minister speak of the importance of aid when it is their governments that walked back to the UK so what assessment has the Minister made on the ability of the UK to support international aid efforts in Sudan and indeed around the world Madam Deputy Speaker, I just want to be so clear about what is the significant driver of the hardship in Sudan. I'm happy to have this debate at some other time but it is absolutely clear that it is the conduct of the parties I am sure that there will overall question about the percentages of aid but Sudan has been protected as I said in my statement as has the aid for Gaza we are trying to focus in areas where we can have the greatest impact but when the primary issue is about humanitarian access and the conduct of the parties it is right that this chamber focuses on those questions.
